Program Administration Division

The Program Administration Division administers and coordinates the following activities:

• Administration of the City's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnerships (HOME) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development;
• Development and administration of housing policy documents, such as the Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development and the City's Affordable Housing Policy;
• Oversight of local compliance with federal, state and local rules and regulations governing housing and community development activities;
• Administration of the City's Housing Trust Fund, voluntary contributions to which are made by developers of commercial, residential and industrial real estate in the City;
• Provision of staff support to the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee;
• Administration of the Housing Opportunities Fund;
• Oversight and monitoring of private-sector participation in affordable housing programs, and
• Administration of City budgetary and fiscal affairs pertaining to housing.
