AmeriCorps is a U.S. federal government program that was created under President Bill Clinton by the National and Community Service Trust Act of 1993 as a way for Americans to give back to their communities and country.The organization was founded to encourage citizens to strengthen their communities through acts of service. Today, thousands of AmeriCorps volunteers contribute to a culture of compassion by tackling the nation’s toughest problems, working to make our communities safer and healthier, and improving the lives of tens of millions of children, families, and adults in need.

CYEP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing the Northern Virginia area with a Fatherhood and Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program. Our organization was founded to address and develop solutions to the issue of the fatherless home and to enhance the lives of youth through education, career planning and development. Homes for America carries out its mission in a variety of ways, including as a developer of affordable housing, providing development services to nonprofit organizations , and providing technical assistance to government agencies to develop and implement housing programs.

policyAmerica is a nonprofit organization ( Fed. ID.: 52-1401948 ) whose purpose is to develop the next agenda in American social policy. This will be achieved by creating and fostering an electronic network of current and retired policy administrators, scholars, and advocates who propose, discuss, and craft innovations in social policy. policyAmerica focuses on child protection, poverty, employment, health insurance, and long-term care, and other social welfare issues.
