Family Partners Program

The Family Partner Program is part of Alexandria’s System of Care.  The Family Partner Program offers a variety of services that allow families to access assistance throughout Alexandria.  The program is designed to create working partnerships between families and the rest of the community. Family Partners foster parent involvement in their children’s lives, which helps children as they grow and leads to  improved outcomes for both the family and the community. 

Family Partner staff are knowledgeable parents who have first hand experience.  Staff are accessible to all families in the City of Alexandria.

Services include:

• Outreach
• Information and referrals to community-based supports
• Assistance with individual family advocacy
• Parent support groups
• Peer to peer support
