Circulation

The Alexandria Law Library is a research library and, therefore, our collection is non-circulating. 

Gift Accepatance

All gifts become the property of the Law Library and, as such, may be retained, sold or otherwise disposed of without notice to the donor.  While the Law Library can issue a letter acknowledging a donation, we cannot give books a specific dollar value for tax purposes.  The Law Library will not accept out-of-date materials unless they have historical significance.

Television and-DVD/VCR Player Rentals

Attorneys and pro se (self-represented) litigants who need a television and DVD/VCR player for trial at the Alexandria City Courthouse may rent the library's video equipment for $100.00 a day. A rental agreement must be completed and payment received before the equipment will be delivered to the courtroom  Please call the library for further instructions.
