State of the City
2012
On April 23, 2012, Alexandria Mayor William D. Euille delivered the annual State of the City Address, outlining our community’s accomplishments, challenges, and opportunities as Alexandria moves forward into the future. In a video recorded in neighborhoods and locations throughout Alexandria, Mayor Euille discusses topics such as the City’s economy and quality of life, public safety, youth, education, development and transportation.
2011
On April 13, 2011, Alexandria Mayor William D. Euille delivered the annual State of the City address as a video on the City's website, Facebook, YouTube, and Cable Channel 70. Filmed in locations throughout the City, Mayor Euille addresses issues such as quality of life, development, education, transportation and the environment.
2010
On March 20, 2010, Mayor William D. Euille delivered his 2010 State of the City Address from The Station at Potomac Yard, a new mixed-use facility which includes a fire station, and affordable and work-force housing. 2009

2008
On March 26, 2008, Alexandria Mayor William D. Euille and City Council hosted the 2008 State of the City address at T.C. Williams High School. The address and accompanying video presentation focused on the opportunities and challenges facing the City now and in the future. Following the address, attendees were given the opportunity to ask questions of the Mayor and City Council.
