Northern Virginia Transportation Commission

Description:

The Commission coordinates all public mass transit services within the Northern Virginia Transportation District and encourages the fair and effective operation of transit services. The Commission also develops a plan for the integrated provision of improved transportation services while maintaining an effective transportation systems management capacity. Both federal and state transit assistance is received and allocated by the Commission.
