Commission on HIV/AIDS
Description:
The Commission advises City Council in the formulation and implementation of public policy on the treatment of AIDS and prevention of the spread of HIV, promotes citizen participation in the formulation of such policy, provides Council and the public with current information regarding AIDS and HIV, and promotes educational programs on AIDS/HIV awareness, treatment & prevention. The Commission meets on the third Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Approximately three hours per month are required of Commission members.
