FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: April 9, 2009
Looking for a great summer job? Plan on attending the Mayor’s Youth Employment Initiative and the TeensWork! Youth Employment Program, which will hold its annual Youth Job Fair on Thursday, April 23 from 3 to 5 p.m. at T.C. Williams High School (3330 King St.). Many local employers will have representatives available to talk with job seekers and conduct on-the-spot interviews. TeensWork! is an employment program for youth offering summer employment opportunities, vocational exploration, and job preparation workshops. TeensWork is operated by the JobLink One-Stop Career Center, a division of the Department of Human Services.
