City of Alexandria Chinquapin Park Recreation Center Schedules Delayed Opening of the Fitness Room

The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities Chinquapin Park Recreation Center, located at 3210 King St., will reopen as scheduled on Tuesday, September 14 at 6 a.m. Due to an unexpected delay in the delivery of new fitness equipment, the center's fitness room will be closed Tuesday and reopen on Wednesday, September 15. The center has been closed for annual maintenance.

On Tuesday, Chinquapin Pass holders may utilize the fitness rooms at the Charles Houston Recreation Center, 901 Wythe St. between 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., and the William Ramsay Recreation Center, 5650 Sanger Ave. between 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.  Please show your Chinquapin Pass for fitness room access.

For updated information regarding the status of the Chinquapin Center's fitness room, call 703.746.5553 beginning Tuesday, September 14.
