Two Alarm Fire Displaces two residents.

July 1, 2010

Firefighters responded to a two alarm fire in the 900 block of N. Alfred Street.  First arriving units reported smoke coming from an upstairs window of a two story town house.  Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire in an upstairs bedroom.

The home was occupied at the time of the fire.  One of the residents called 9-1-1 to report the fire.  Both residents quickly evacuated the home.  There were no reported injuries.

Damage is estimated at $7,000.  The cause remains under investigation.
